Wine Tours - Full Day & Half
Day
Grape Escapes offers either half-day or
full day wine tours.
Half-day tours : Mornings starting at 9.30a.m. lasting until about
1.00p.m. Cape town pick-ups would start at 9.00a.m to give time to
travel into the winelands. Pick-ups and drop-offs at clients` hotel. We
try to visit four wine estates for tasting but can tailor-make the tour
to suit clients` tastes and interests. We concentrate in the Helderberg,
Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek wine-route regions.
Afternoon tours start at 2.00 p.m. lasting till 5.p.m., we try to
cover 3 or 4 wineries for tasting. Cellar tours can be made
by prior arrangement.
Full-day tours; Start at 9.30 ( Cape town pick-up 9.00) a.m. The object
is to visit up to 7 wineries, for tasting only or to fit in a cellar
tour or distillery tour, which are generally conducted in the mornings.
Lunches can be grand affairs, which would reduce the number of wineries,
or simple snacks or picnics. We can arrange whatever the clients prefer.
We would aim to return to client's hotels by 5.30 p.m.. The most
important factor is that we tailor-make the tours to suit Client's
tastes and interests and to show-off and share the magnificent winelands
of South Africa.
